Who is Second Set of Hands ?
Founded in February 2007 Second Set of Hands is your very own personal assistant and personal concierge service. Our goal is to make your life easier by doing all those things which you don’t wish to do or simply don’t have the time to do.
What services are offered?
SSH offers a variety of unique and helpful services limited only by your imagination. Please click on our Service Menu to get a detailed list of services we offer. If there is a service you need that isn’t listed, please contact us and we’ll do our best to assist you.
What are SSH operating hours?
Our regular operating hours are Monday-Friday 9AM to 5PM. Evening, week-end and holiday hours are available and may have extra fees associated with these times.
How can I become a customer?
Simply contact us to schedule a free 15-minute consultation in which we can discuss your individual needs.
How much do the services cost?
Prices vary depending upon the type and length of services you request. Please contact us for a free estimate so that we can accurately assess your needs.
How do I request services?
You can request services from SSH in three ways. Cindy will process your request directly in person, or you may contact the office at 757.897.6111; and finally you may send an email via our Contact Us page with details of your request. After receipt of your service request, SSH will call or e-mail (whichever you specify) you to confirm the details of your appointment.
How much notice is needed for a request for service?
All services require, at a minimum, a 24-hour notification prior to the rendering of services. Requests are taken on a first come first serve basis.
What if I can’t give a 24-hour notice for a service request?
Emergency service request is available if we have a free team member. Note: There may be extra fees associated with same day service and emergency requests.
How do I cancel an appointment with SSH?
We require a 24-hour cancellation notice on all scheduled appointments (not including requests of an emergency or same day nature). If you cancel an appointment with less than a 24-hour notice, SSH has the right to bill you for 50% of the estimated time of your appointment.
How do I pay for services?
All payments are due at time of service.
Will you tell other people about the services you provide me?
All of the services you receive from SSH are confidential, unless you authorize us to discuss your services with a third party.
What services will SSH NOT perform?
SSH will not perform any service that’s illegal, unethical, or poses a danger to any person or property, and further reserves the right to decline any request for service in its sole discretion.
